Moran Engineering is located in Berkeley, California. Since 1976 we have provided professional civil engineering design and land surveying services to corporate, educational, civic and private clients throughout the Bay Area.

Everett S. Moran, Registered Civil Engineer – No. 18650. Attended UCLA in late 1940's, College of Engineering. Fifty years of civil engineering and surveying experience principally in land development and municipal engineering. Established Moran Engineering over 30 years ago.
David J. Franco, Registered Civil Engineer – No. 34652 & Licensed Land Surveyor – No. 4979. Civil Engineering degree from University of California, Berkeley. Civil engineering project manager responsible for contract preparation, consultation, plan and specification preparation and contract administration. Over twenty-five years with Moran Engineering.
Jeffrey D. Black, Licensed Land Surveyor – No. 5252. Civil Engineering degree from Rutgers, MBA from Columbia. Administrative responsibilities and coordination of surveying services. Over thirty years with Moran Engineering.
Robert J. Brunel, Licensed Land Surveyor – No. 4961. Forestry degree from University of California, Berkeley. Chief Surveyor. Responsible for boundary and topographic surveying, construction layout and ALTA surveys. Over twenty-five years with Moran Engineering.
Jim Moran, Licensed Land Surveyor – No. 7881. Business degree from California State University, Hayward. Survey party chief. Responsible for boundary and topographic surveying, condominium and parcel mapping. Over twenty years with Moran Engineering.
Peggy Guare, Licensed Land Surveyor – No. 8361. Geology degree from Humboldt State University. Survey party chief. Responsible for subdivision mapping, condominium plans, field mapping and surveying. Over eight years with Moran Engineering.
In addition, there are currently two technicians with the firm who participate on survey crews, drafting, and computer operation. Although currently unlicensed, both are experienced, with more than five years with the firm.
